Astral Events[]

Events happening between shard games in the astral world.

[]

Condition
Gather at least 2000 Glory
Effects
(only if the player accepts Zarr's proposal) +300 Astral Energy, -500 Glory
Description
After gathering 2000 Glory, Zarr will address the player in the astral and ask if she wanted 300 Energy. Accepting the offer (with or without inquiring about the details of the offer) will immediately give player 300 Astral Energy, but at the same time his Glory will be lowered by -500.
  • The offer consists in the player granting his permission to use his face and identity as a mascot for one of the Gremlin's casinos called "Fat Luck".

Consecutive Offers[]

If (and only if) the player has accepted the first offer, he can from than point on ask Zarr about more advertisement offers to generate more Astral Energy. This can be repeated each Astral Turn. Zarr will then be busy till the next turn (looking for offers), when he will automatically tell the player about the offer, which will depend on player's Glory:

Glory < 2000
no offer (player is too unpopular to get any offers)
Glory >= 2000 & < 3000
+50 Astral Energy, -300 Glory
Glory >= 3000 & < 4000
+150 Astral Energy, -400 Glory
Glory >= 4000
+250 Astral Energy, -500 Glory

The First Gear-wheel[]

Condition
Attacking the first shard right after finding the first Key of TruthVerify: Is this the condition? Or merely being in turn 19? Or attacking 19th Shard?
Effects
+200 Astral Energy or a random new Building schematics.
Description
Right after commencing an attack at the shard (but before the map is loaded), Zarr will approach the player and tell him that there is a special artifact hidden in that shard, called The First Gear-wheel. It is a sacred relic for gremlins, because its invention "more or less marked the day when advanced mechanics were born". So Zarr offers the player a reward if he finds and recovers the Gear-wheel for him.
  • The Gear-wheel is in the possession of goblins at a Tower Ruins location in a province named Iron Feet.

Note: the new Building schematics is selected randomly from all available "unlocked" buildings (that is, buildings for which the player has already obtained all prerequisite buildings). This bypasses the normal random selection of buildings for new Shard, which always selects the buildings of the lowest level. Thus, this can be used to obtain the schematics for highest-level unlocked building.
