Event description[]

The deputy of the province informs you that there is an old battlefield in the Abandoned Lands nearby. This battlefield has not yet been looted by any marauders. The deputy will not dare to send any people there to gather trophies without your permission.

Occurrence[]

This event occurs randomly in a province next to a abandoned one. (Abandoned provinces are former provinces held by a defeated master). For this event to occur, there must be at least two empty spots in the treasury.

Options and consequences[]

  1. Don't you dare! Those are someone else's lands!
  2. Organize volunteers. (-100 Gold)
    • The people of the province easily coped with the task and recovered gold and some valuable items. (+100–200 Gold, random level 4 item and level 3 item that is at least of uncommon rarity)
      1. Excellent! Deliver it to the treasury.
      2. Reward them for their good work. (-50 Gold, +2 latest?cb=20140816200607)
  3. Force the people of the province to loot the battlefield.
    • The people of the province met some difficulties, but recovered a little gold and a couple of items. (+50–100 Gold, random level 3 and 2 item)

  4. Don't bother me with such trifling matters from now on!
    • Nothing happens; This event doesn't show up again.

Choices 2 & 3 are followed by:

  • (60% chance) -1 latest?cb=20180731131805
  • (40% chance) Guards from the abandoned lands have tracked your looters and attacked the province. (Attacked by bowmen, swordsmen, pikemen and crossbowmen)
    • (On victory) Your soldiers gain a victory against the guards and capture their leader. The prisoner is ransomed for 50–100 Gold.

    • (On defeat) Your soldiers fail to defeat the guards. The enemies plunder your province and go back whence they came. The damage costs you 100–200 Gold. (Population reduced by 10%, -1 latest?cb=20130702070053)
